Why does it always sound so easy to invest in classes, but it is so much harder in real life?
In this class, we will do our best to leave the “ivory tower” and get down and dirty with the investment side of real estate. We will endeavor to look at the risk of cost over runs, permitting issues, liens, vacancy, changing markets, and developing an exit strategy.
When things go wrong, you need to be prepared. To do so, you must have the knowledge to anticipate what can go wrong. Investing in real estate means getting your hands dirty, and while we won’t go to any properties, we will do our best to make sure you walk out with a little “dirt under your fingernails.”
